Money Trees

“Money trees is the perfect place for shade and that’s just how I feel.” Kendrick Lamar ft. Jay Rock. Money Trees

When I listen to “Money Trees” by Kendrick Lamar and Jay Rock, I envision a tall, lone tree showering the ground below it with its leaves. At a closer look, you can tell the leaves are money or currency. The design represents prosperity. Everything about the tree, from the thickness of the tree trunk and leaves, and the continuous flow of money represent the fact that a good seed or idea must have been planted or generated and taken care of or nourished. From that, came this tree, in green, also representing prosperity, and the color of the money that it is producing. When the seasons change, its thick branches and leaves stay the same. Consistency.

I want this design to motivate others to pursue their dreams. Don’t chase money. You can get that doing almost anything these days. You want to be great at anything you do. Most importantly, gain financial literacy. Read about the business you want to be in. Take business classes. Believe in yourself. Money is obtainable. How you go about getting it matters.

Get money. At least, don’t be afraid to. In the society we currently live in, nothing is safe. Your home, family, and your job require you to grind and be ready for whatever life throws at you, to keep going.

You have to GRIND to accomplish your dreams. In order to get to where you want to be, you really can’t depend on anyone, your job, or a paycheck from the government to get you there.

Too often we’re hit with financial setbacks and we remember that old saying that money doesn’t grow on trees. Technically it does, metaphorically, it doesn’t. Unless you grow a money tree. Generally speaking, do what it takes to gain dependable income by doing what you like doing. Find the opportunities and jobs you like. Ones that motivate and inspire you to be better and become great. The money will come once you find out what you want and how you want to go about getting it. Whether your plan requires you to work a 9 to 5, is up to you. Success or failure is up to you. Too many times we are discouraged from doing what we really want because there’s no money in it, etc. Whatever the reason is, you have to create your own opportunities to be great at anything. At the end of the day, that is your responsibility to yourself. So why waste time being great at something you don’t like? Do what you love. That is my inspiration.
